We have a Hope Project Partner who loves science. In honor of their employees, who also love science, he gives us a gift each month to supply the science lab at Hope International with needed equipment and supplies.

Below is a video of our teachers sharing what this generosity provided for the students and school.

We love how creatively and generously you all live in this world!

Rise and Shine.

Today we continue to celebrate strong hope and strong women! Hearts are bursting with possibility, imagination, and potential. Just as we, in the United States, are dreaming a bit bigger, so are our female students of Hope International.

In Liberia, the national average for students that attend school is 73% male and 27% female. At Hope International, approximately 50 percent of the student body is female!  In addition, currently, 8 out of the 13 graduates pursuing university degrees are women.

Hope International School is made by possible by the continued support of our Hope² members. Hope², our group of 140 pledged donors, provides well over 70% of our annual budget. This support is how we pay our teachers, support the computer and science lab, run our school-based medical clinic, and exist as a resource for the most vulnerable families in Liberia.

For as little as $10 a month you can provide a month of education for one of our pre-K through 12th grade students. Through your partnership and generosity, together we will work to empower and educate Liberia's next generation of dream chasers.

Together, we are The Hope Project.

Dear Friends of The Hope Project,

Today, I was to send you a New Year’s letter, a letter that looked forward to all that is hoped for and possible in the coming year. I’m finding this task quite difficult while our country is gripped with shock and a deeply uncertain future.

What there is to celebrate and hold close is the graduation of Hope International’s Class of 2020. The students were honored, celebrated and awarded their high school diplomas.

Hope International’s student lead Alumni Association (some of the members pictured above) hosted a welcoming ceremony, transitioning the students to support and give back to the school that provided their educational opportunities.

It’s these small and large happenings that sustain us all. Liberia models for us the depth of devastation that civil war creates and the long and impossibly difficult road to rebuilding. The resiliency, strength and potential housed in these students, embodies hope for the future and propels us all forward.

Together, we are The Hope Project.
