You may hear us often referring to our students in Liberia as dream-chasers. Navigating through challenging terrain with grit and determination is a given.
This is also true of Amy Hopkins, a sustaining partner of our pledged donor group Hope², and her teammate Melissa Fischer. This is the dream team 50/50 (which may or may not refer to being of a certain age), who will be competing for The Hope Project in this year’s Rebelle Rally, October 8th-17th. The Rebelle Rally is the first women’s off-road navigation rally raid in the United States.
The competitors vote on a Team Spirit award each year. The winning team gets $5,000 for their selected non-profit. Team 50/50 has chosen to represent The Hope Project this year!
We look forward to following Team 50/50 and invite you to join us in cheering on Amy and Melissa https://www.rebellerally.com/live/. It all begins today!
Christiana Update.
Next week, Christiana Menyon, our second One shirt. One girl. scholarship recipient will begin her Junior year in nursing at United Methodist University. She says her dream and plan for the future are to become a professional nurse to serve her community and country. Christiana hopes to help orphans, the homeless, and those who are often overlooked and neglected.
This is only possible because your generosity has supported the heart of everything we do at Hope International School.
If you’d like to support Christiana, check out www.oneshirtonegirl.com. Together, we will lift up Christiana to reach all that she is working towards.
