It's all about the numbers. 33,550. 5,000. and 58...

Community Hub Timeline 2 .png

Sometimes the work we do together feels small, yet important. It can be stunning in its beauty and weight. Speaking of weight, did you see the poundage of rice that was supplied?

Many of you, our partners in Hope, did this. Read on to learn how your gifts have had an immediate and life-saving impact.

Together, we are the Hope Project.

33,550 Pounds of Rice

Due to the generosity of 62 people, we opened a temporary community hub at the school, supplying the school families and the surrounding community with emergency food (33,550 pounds of rice!) and sanitation supplies.

5,000 Masks

Our Hope partners have not only provided masks for Hope International students but the communities surrounding our school. Our senior students and principal Joseph Cummings distributed 5,000 masks that were made onsite at Hope International’s sewing lab, with funds that you generously gave.

58 Quarantine Kits

In response to the urgent needs of the community, our Liberian partners assembled Quarantine Kits. Each Quarantine Kit provided a household (4-6 people) with a 2-week supply of rice, cooking oil, sanitation supplies, and masks. 58 families had their basic needs assured for two weeks. In a country where things are uncertain, at best, this is beautiful, tangible, and essential.
