Hope Enters on World Food Day and Every Day.

On World Food Day, we celebrate two Hope International graduates, Augustine and Smith, who are taking the future of their communities’ food into their own hands.

Augustine is entering his second year of university studies in Agriculture. After graduation he hopes to start a farm in rural Liberia.

Smith will graduate from William V.S. Tubman University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, November 2020! For his final Senior Project, Smith designed and fabricated a Sugarcane Chipping Machine. This machine requires no electricity and will improve the economic well-being of rural Liberian farmers.

Education provides the power to change the future of Liberia. We are so thankful for your partnership in rebuilding this beautiful country. Together, we are The Hope Project.

Who Runs The World?

Girls of Hope.jpg

At Hope International every day is #internationaldayofthegirl! In Liberia, the national average for students that attend school is 73% male and 27% female. At Hope International, approximately 50 percent of the student body is female!  In addition, currently, 6 female graduates are pursuing university degrees.

Today we celebrate strong hope and strong women! Through your generosity, we are ensuring that Liberia’s girls are equipped to chase their dreams.

The future of Liberia is in safe and beautiful hands.
