Cover Yourself in Hope

It is that time of year, to cover yourself in Hope. The Hope Project's fourth Quilt of Hope drawing is happening now through February 28th. Purchase tickets throughout the month and be entered to win the West African inspired quilt. The winner will be announced on March 5th.

The generosity received from the Quilt of Hope drawing will help sustain our three vocational programs: Sew Much Hope, Cooking Up Hope, and Power of Hope. These training programs create opportunities for Hope International students and local community members to receive certification and enter jobs in sewing and tailoring, culinary arts, and electrical support.

Recent graduates from Sew Much Hope have started a sewing cooperative. Cooking Up Hope and Power of Hope graduates are using their skills to earn an income through small cottage businesses or the formal job market. You can read more about some of them on our vocational pages.

You will also have the chance to view the Quilt of Hope in-person and purchase tickets at several locations throughout the month of February.
